The Full SaaS UX Review

The first few minutes of a new user’s journey are crucial

The truth about UX reviews

Running an unbiased UX review in-house is nearly impossible. You’re too close to your product to see it as anything other than a super-user. Even the most experienced teams suffer from not seeing the forest for the trees.

That’s where I come in. I’ll experience your SaaS with fresh eyes and provide a clear, UX-focused perspective—just like a new user would. I’ll spot the issues your team might overlook and articulate what your users cannot.

Your customer’s journey

Users can take any number of paths as they navigate your SaaS—many you planned for and probably several you didn’t. During my full UX review, I’ll find unexpected friction points and provide fixes to smooth them over.

My SaaS reviews are comprehensive and include an analysis of the following areas:

Consistent styling, layout, and structure
Signup and Onboarding
Interactions that feel off
Unnecessary screens and interactions
Basic accessibility requirements
Correct application of UX to signup, forms, hierarchy, etc.
Perceived trust levels
Support and help docs
Ease of use – Is it intuitive?
And much more…

The UX review deliverables

A 60 to 90-minute video

The full UX review will deliver a 60 to 90-minute in-depth video. I’ll start on your home page and work through the signup process, paying close attention to the critical first minutes of a new user’s journey.

From here, I’ll review your app’s major features and functions. You’ll get a bird’ s-eye view of your customers’ experience—but through knowledgable, unbiased eyes.

A written summary

A 60 to 90-minute review can generate a lot of feedback, so I’ll provide a written summary that you can use as a quick reference.

The written summary makes it easy to scan through the highlights and find your quick wins. It’s also a great starting point for your to-do list.

You can hand them straight to your team, along with the to-do list I know you’ll create from the written summary.
